Carberry Tower is a stylish 15th century country mansion. Refurbished in 2008 the house's 30 bedrooms offer double/twin/single and family en suite accommodation. In the Mansion House choose between our enchanting Turret rooms, Monarch rooms or Monarch Suite, all of which offer guests stylish accommodation with views across the estate. Our two lodges, with an additional 30 en-suite bedrooms, offer guests on a tighter budget accommodation of a more basic standard while enjoying the benefits of a large country estate. The lodges are located just a minute's walk from the mansion house. PLEASE NOTE THAT BEDROOMS DO NOT HAVE TELEVISIONS. Carberry's long and rich history is reflected in the ambience and character of each of its bedrooms, libraries, meeting rooms and public lounges. The Guest house is an old Georgian building in the heart of the upmarket Newtown area of the city. We are ideally situated for both business and leisure guests. We are 10 minutes walk from Princes Street, shopping areas and theatres and 20 minutes walk from the castle. We have a wide seclection of resturants and bars within walking distance from our door step, you will never be short of things to see and do!
Heriott Park is a comfortable Edwardian Villa where you can be sure of a warm, friendly welcome. We are about 1 mile north of the city centre near the Botanic Garden, with great views over the city towards the Castle, Arthur's Seat and the Pentland Hills. All rooms have shower/bathroom, "freeview" televisions and tea / coffee making facilities. Included is a cooked breakfast, a vegetarian option or lighter snack. Free wireless internet throughout. Ample free off street parking . No Smoking.
At Lantern Guest House we aim to provide clean, comfortable and above all, affordable rooms, in a central location. Situated in the City Centre, we offer: 2 x double rooms, 1 x twin room and 1 x triple room in Lantern House, located at 3 Windsor Street. 1 x double room, and 1 x twin room located at 23 Windsor Street, our sister guest house, Depending on availability, a booking can be placed in either Lantern House or Windsor House. Our rooms are simplistically, yet tastefully furnished, offering the optimum in comfort and relaxation. Although we don't have an evening curfew, we are not the type of Guest House that caters for party people, and we are quite strict on noise pollution.
